These Projects studied Material Deformation and Failure under Stress and Crack Propagations using Computational Modeling to Create Design Improvements and Enhance Durability.
These Studies Provided Insights into Material Behavior while using Analytical Solid Mechanics to Calculate the Driving Force on a Crack. Using these Tools I Learned how to Analyze the Propagation of Cracks Focusing on Parameters such as the Stress Intensity Factor (K) to Characterize the Loading State Under Linear Elastic Conditions.
