Mini Electronic Golf Green

Project Overview

Collaborating in a Group of Six Eningeers, We Developed a Mini Electronic Golf Green Inspired by Various National Parks. This Interactive Project Integrates Sensors, Programming, and Fabrication Replicating Realistic Mini Golf Conditions with an Engineering Twist. I was Tasked with Making the Final Hole which I chose to do Yellowstone's Old Faithful and Integrate a Laser Trip System that activates a Fog Machine.

Key Contributions & Responsibilities

• Designed & Implemented Sensors to work in Conjunction with the Programming and Hardware.
• Created a Laser Trip Mechanism to Ignite a Fog Machine using an Arduino Uno.
• Contributed to Physical Layout & Modeling/Fabrication of the Final Hole of the Golf Green.

Skills & Technologies

• Electronics: Custom Sensor Layout & Implementation with a Fog Machine
• Programming: Programmed with an Arduino Uno to Control the Laser Trip and the Fog Machine
• Design: Focused on Creating a Realistic View of Old Faithful & Make Sure it Integrates with the Rest of the Golf Green

Outcome

As a Group we were able to Create an Interactive Mini Electronic Golf Green that was very much Loved by Everyone who Played. I was also Successful in Delivering on the Premise of using a Laser Trip that Turned on the Fog Machine when Tripped by the Golf Ball.
